I provide treatment for a variety of behavioral and psychological issues using evidenced-based interventions for individuals ages 18 and up.

My mission is to work collaboratively with clients to identify methods that will work best for them. I specialize in treating relationship and self-esteem issues, life transitions and adjustments, anxiety, grief, and depression. I also offer a unique approach to balancing stress—both the big worries and the everyday—making it less cumbersome. I am a certified yoga instructor.  I incorporate mindfulness into my practice.

My theoretical orientation is a mixture of Cognitive Behavioral and Humanistic. I use a strengths-based approach and mindfulness-based interventions, along with other modalities.

I believe that there are many ways to bring about change. My approach in therapy is eclectic, meaning that I use a variety of techniques to help clients reach their full potential. My goal is to assist clients in gaining insight so that they can attain optimal health. It is very fulfilling for me when a client, through hard work, discovers his or her best self.

I obtained my bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Cincinnati. I earned a master of social work (MSW) at the University of South Carolina, and pursued extra clinical training to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have over 10 years of clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings as well as in private practice. I'm also a certified yoga instructor through Yoga Alliance.
